1031 Tracker Pro ("we", "us", "our") provides a web based application (the "Service") that helps real estate professionals manage their clients' 1031 tax deferred exchange deadlines, client records, and tax deferral calculations. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Account Information: Your name, email address, and password (encrypted) when you create an account.
Client Data: Information you enter about your clients, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, entity names, and professional contacts (Qualified Intermediary, attorney, CPA, lender).
Exchange Data: Property details, sale prices, adjusted basis, depreciation, selling costs, and closing dates.
Billing Information: Processed through Stripe; we do not store your credit card number on our servers.
When you enter information about your clients into the Service, you are the party responsible for that data, and we act on your behalf to store and display it. You are responsible for having any consent or authorization needed from your clients before entering their information into the Service.
We do not independently contact your clients or use their information for any purpose other than providing the Service to you, including sending deadline alerts to your client using the contact information entered in the Service.
We take the security of your data seriously. Your information is protected using industry standard security measures:
In plain terms: your data is scrambled both while traveling between your device and our servers, and while stored on our servers. Only you can access your account and client data.
We send preset deadline alert notifications by email to you and your client, using the contact information entered in the Service. We do not currently send alerts by text message or push notification. Email delivery is not guaranteed; messages can be delayed or filtered as spam by the recipient's email provider, so you remain responsible for verifying deadlines independently of any alert.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties. We share data only with:

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Since all client and exchange data belongs to you, you can edit or delete it at any time within the app. You can delete your account and its associated data directly from the Settings page, or by contacting us at support@1031trackerpro.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days to allow for reactivation, after which it is permanently deleted. If you delete your account directly, this process begins immediately.
This app is intended for use by real estate professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app.
